Pricing
Free to start. You pay your providers directly, never OpenLLM for tokens.
The most important thing to understand about OpenLLM pricing is what it does not charge for.
No token markup, ever
OpenLLM never resells tokens and never marks them up. Every request bills to your own provider account at your provider's price. If you connect a subscription, you ride the flat rate you already pay. OpenLLM does not sit in the middle taking a per-token cut.
That means the cost figures in your dashboard are the real provider costs, which is what makes a single unified view worth having.
What the plan covers
OpenLLM is free to start. The paid tier covers the platform features around the gateway, not the model tokens:
- The managed encrypted credential vault.
- Fallback chains and the unified usage dashboard.
- Plugins and skills: codebase and docs indexing, persistent memory, and web search for any model.
- Full cost history.
The current price and exactly what each tier unlocks are shown in the dashboard, since they can change. As a guide, the paid tier has launched around a low single-digit monthly price, and the deeper indexing, persistent memory, more web search, and full cost history live there.
